Google PageRank Update Q4 2008

This is a webmaster blog and if you are reading this blog then I presume that you are ( / want to become) a webmaster. Google is at the heart of webmasters and their PageRank system is very important for people like me. There was a PR update 2 days ago. It was not supposed to happen at this time because most of us were expecting it somewhere in October.

I have a lot of domains, most of them are still same, no change in PR. My some new sites got a good PR. I can’t see lot of people being penalized by Google for selling links or paid posts. (My one blog is still banned from Google for paid posting.)

GeekPoint is now with a PR5 home page with daily increasing traffic. It’s subforums and some threads also got a PR2 – PR4. Its not so easy to get PR5. It takes a lot of hard work from all staff members.

We are planning to have some contests in our forum. I was busy for the last 2 months so I was unable to post. Now I am back to rock!

I do not know if Google updates the pagerank, but I already has over 1 years with a PR4, every time Google does not put it more difficult to attract visitors to our site, Google wants all the web traffic for them, is not just be left to compete and I am trying to get by with Google Adsense.Pero really earn a pittance if you have it 5 to attract more visitors.

On the eve of April fools day Google updated the toolbar page rank again on 1st April 2009. This time they filtered more back links. Previously i have around 70 now i have less back links for my site cybex.in. However site rank well on all top keywords. It seems google backlinks scheme updated too. It still loves article links as i did for my site. I implemented news section and rss feeds on the site which rocks well and may be the reason of ranking my all keywords.

its true Google page rank updates 1st April 2009 every three months the toolbar page rank updates
i do more Google seo friendly directories do get better rank now its pr 2
